Paco Rabanne‘s iconic linked dresses are (obviously) a big inspiration for me, so I was extremely pleasantly surprised when I only recently discovered that singer-songwriter Françoise Hardy was featured on the cover of Rabanne’s biography, and was a huge fan of his.
Françoise Hardy was my first, and for a long time, only female influence as a singer-songwriter. I admired her unaffected charmp and aspired to her beautiful music and lyrics. So now, having exhaustively google-image-searched her, I am in awe of her personal fashion style throughout her entire career!
Here are a ton of pictures!

The Bex Cuff, a luxuriously heavy weaving of silver and black rubber chainmail, is a staple, perhaps the cornerstone of IMK Jewelry’s collection. But I didn’t name it after myself. It was Rebecca Guinness who, early on when for some reason I had not thought to make plain black cuffs, said she thought it would be really cool to have one that was longer, with just black rubber.
The Bex Cuff was born! I always cringe a little when I meet other Rebecca’s but when I met Rebecca Guinness she quickly became my closest other-Rebecca friend. I usually go by Rebs or Schiffers and call her Rebex or Bex so now I would just like to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Rebex! I miss you!
