Look familiar? This was when Robin Byrd was autographing copies of her compilation “Lie Back and Get Comfortable: Songs to Make Love To” or something like that.

As I was sitting next to her she said, “It’s so hot under these lights in these leather pants, feel!” and she grabbed my hand and put it pressed it down on her upper inner thigh.I grew up watching her, and so I said, “You were my hero when I was little.” She looked at me and said bitterly, “Who’s your hero now?” It was very awkward.
